He started his work life in railway transport sector as a Dispatcher in Erzincan in 1984. E then went on to serve as a Station Master, Dispatch Controller, Regional Dispatch Manager, Dispatch Service Assistant Manager, Dispatch Service Manager and Freight Department Vice President, actively took responsibility in Train and Wagon Planning, Traffic and Operation, General Operation and Logistics Centers and then worked in the restructuring commission of Turkish State Railways, active as a monopoly in railway sector.
He worked on the passing of the legislation for the liberalization of the railway sector as the Department Head at the Directorate General of Railway Regulation newly founded in 2013, where he still works as General Manager.
After studying at Demiryolu Vocational High School Department of Business Administration, he graduated from Anadolu University School of Economics and THK University School of Business Administration and did his master’s degree with a thesis on “effects of liberalization of railway transport to sector development.”
He has conducted various local-overseas educational activities.
He was born in 1967 in Eskişehir. He is married with one child.
