I was born on March 22, 1964 in Eskişehir.

I graduated from TCDD Vocational High School in 1981 and started working as an assistant machinist in the same year. I worked at the Eskişehir Terminal and graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Science and Letters Department of History in 1988. I have been working as a Regional Dispatch Manager in railways, as a Teacher at TCDD Vocational High School, a Specialist and a Branch Manager for 18 years. Between 2009 and 2012, I worked as a Passenger Transport Service Manager in the first four years of HSTs and I still work as a Branch Manager at the Passenger Transport Office. I have broad domestic and overseas training and experience in passenger transport.
