Necdet Sümbül

Deputy General Manager of Infrastructure Investments Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure

He was born in 1972 in Gülnar, Mersin. He graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Department of Civil Engineering in 1995. He worked as a lecturer and deputy headmaster at the Kulu Vocational School within the body of the same university.
In 1998, he started working as a civil engineer at the Port Building Office of the General Directorate of Railways, Ports and Airports Construction Authority. After working at the Port Building Office Department of Estimates, Specification, Tender and Final Account between 2000 and 2012, he served as the Head of the Airfield Building Office in 2012. He also served as the head of the departments of Airfield Building, Airfield Survey and Project, Electrical-Electronics, Machinery Supply and Joint Services. He served as the Acting Deputy General Manager of Infrastructure Investments between June 4, 2018 and February 13, 2019 and was assigned to his new role of Deputy General Manager of Infrastructure Investments on February 13, 2019.
He is married with two children and fluent in English.
