Deputy General Manager STM

He was born in Aydın in 1970.
He graduated from Naval Academy Department of Operational Research in 1991. He took part in operations at frigates within the inventory of Naval Forces Command for five years.
He completed his post-graduate studies in the USA at Naval Postgraduate School Department of Computer Sciences in the field of Software Engineering.
He served as a project officer and branch manager at General Staff Department of Information Systems uninterruptedly between 1998 and 2013. In the same period, he acted as an executive in the projection, realization and operation of various command & control and management information systems in Turkish Armed Forces. He represented Turkey in NATO Information Systems Committee. He acted as the head of this committee’s technical study groups.
After retiring from Turkish Armed Forces, Korkut joined STM in 2013 and served as Business Development and Corporate Communication Manager. He has been serving as Deputy General Manager in Charge of Technology since October 2015. His current areas of responsibility include cyber security.
