Dr. Ufuk Demir Alan

Ufuk Demir Alan was born in 1982 in Niğde. She spent her student life in Izmir. She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Department of Computer Engineering in 2005 as the top student in the department. She did her master’s degree in 2007 at the same department and did her doctorate in 2018 at Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Science Department of Computer Engineering. Her doctoral thesis was based on server-based fee collection in public transport and account management. With this thesis, she received the “Great Mind Academy Award” at Ausder 2019. She has had various articles and statements published in local and foreign scientific magazines.
 
Between 2005 and 2007, she worked as a research associate at Dokuz Eylül University Department of Computer Engineering. She has been working at Kenkart Ege Elektronik Şirketi since 2007. After leading the software team, she became a technical business development manager in 2014. She has played a part in various R&D projects in the field of public transport and continues to do so. Her areas of expertise include chip cards, card technologies, server-based systems, next-generation contactless payment and security technologies. She has been active in the sector for 12 years. She is married with one child.
