V.A. Weeda MSc, born 1979 in Amsterdam, married and two sons. Graduated 2005 at Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, Department of Transport and Planning. 2003 Internal Placement at National Express, London. 2005-2007 Research and Education at Delft University of Technology, and still involved in education there as a guest-lecturer and supervisor of Master interns at ProRail.
 
Since 2007 Performance analyst and consultant at Dutch Infra Manager ProRail. Extensive experience with in-depth train traffic analyses and improvement projects, in close co-operation with Train Operating Companies. Closely involved in establishing feedback loops between scheduling and operations, in order to continuously improve punctuality, capacity, safety and energy efficiency.
 
Board member of Dutch-Belgian transport & spatial planning congress CVS. Participated in railway company exchanges to Japan, Switzerland, Germany and the UK, published on various international railway conferences.
